Well, its been a while since I have had time to get on here due to being in Russia and not having a computer over there or internet access, Like being a kid again when I go home.

Well, as you will all know by now that I am now 3 times Ladies World Champion. It was the hardest Lakeside I have had to play and the standard of darts is getting better and better every year.

It all started with a last 8 game live on ESPN against my good friend and pairs partner Lorraine Farlam. She started off like a steam train and scored heavily and certainly made me wake up quickly. Lorraine was just as nervous about this game as I was and I think I just managed to hold myself together a little bit more possibly due to having more experience and I was very happy to come out a 2 sets to nil winner and progress to the semi final where I was up against 9 times Ladies champ Trina Gulliver. I was going to have a few days rest as they had changed the playing days this year and I was due to play Friday night which used to be finals night.

So Friday I was all geared up to play against Trina and was very disappointed to find out that two Ladies with 11 World Titles were not being shown on TV. This was dissapointing for the Ladies and also for myself and Trina as we don't often get to show the world what we can do on the main stage.

The game was a good game and Trina took a well deserved first set lead although I did have chances at doubles. I dug deep and managed to win the second set very well and set me up for the third and final set which I was confident going into. I raised my scoring power in the last set and my finishing all came together and I was able to close the match out and I was happy to be in the final to try and win my 3rd World Title and I was due to play against Lisa Ashton from England.

So Saturday 12th January at 6.30 was the time I was to play my final and I was very happy to hear that this game was going to be again Live on ESPN and Eurosport, So my family and friends around the world could watch me play.

The final against Lisa was always going to be a high scoring game as we are to of the top scorers in the Ladies game. This was exactly how the game panned out and again finishing was to be crucial at tight points of the game. Below is the official BDO report of the game as I can not really remember to much due to my levels of concentration and then excitement so sorry for not writing up but the BDO report is a good reflection of the game.

Anastasia Dobromyslova clinched her third world title, defying a battling performance from debutant finalist Lisa Ashton 2-1. Bolton-based Ashton hit a maximum and an 80 checkout but was powerless to stop the 28-year-old Russian from chalking up her third world title. It was an entertaining 30-minute encounter between second seed Dobromyslova and the veteran England international, with Dobromyslova holding her nerve to clinch the title on double six. Afterwards Dobromyslova said: “I still don’t realise I have done it. It was such a tough game. If it had gone to 2-2 in the final set it could have been anyone’s title. “Being here in the final before meant I know how to handle myself. I would just like to thank my family and friends for all their support,” said the newly-crowned champ. Beaten finalist Ashton admitted: “I am gutted at losing but was really pleased to get through to the final. I don’t think the break in the game did me any good.” Both players started confidently, pounding the tiny 60 segment, the defending champ missing double tops for a 118 finish against the throwing advantage, Ashton stepping in to exit on double 10. The Russian led to the double in the next and despite five misses, exited on double five to level the game. She clinched the next against the throw on double tops after the 42-year-old Bolton player missed two finishing opportunities. Ashton fired out the first 180 of the match in the fourth set, but Dobromyslova won the race for the double and clinically checked out on 64 with treble 16 and double eight to take the opening set against the throwing advantage. The Russian player was coasting to the opening leg of the second set, leaving herself 12, but Ashton pounced with a superb 120 checkout, finished on double tops, to steal the throwing advantage. In the next, power-scoring saw Ashton first to the double and despite fluffing three shots, she moved into a 2-0 legt lead after hitting double 10. Dobromyslova replied, narrowly missing double 20 for a 117 finish, recovering from missing three further doubles before exiting on double two. Despite throwing first in the next the defending champ struggled to match Ashton’s high-scoring as the England sharpshooter levelled the match with an eye-catching 80, completed on double tops. Tons were traded in the opening leg of the deciding third set, Ashton missing double 18 for a 84 finish, as Dobromyslova pounced to finish on double 10 against the throwing advantage. But the Bolton ace replied immediately, exiting on double 10 after narrowly missing tops for a spectacular 116 checkout. With tension rising both players fired out ton plus scores, but Ashton missed double tops and then double 15 to steal the match advantage and Anastasia cooly hit single one and double 20 to edge into a 2-1 leg lead. The double world champ turned the screw in the fourth leg to leave herself on 78 with Ashton stranded in the 200s. She hit treble 18 but then agonised as two darts intended for double 12 missed their target. But with Ashton unable to finish the cool Russian sharpshooter pegged a title-winning double six for her third world title in six years – and her fourth world title on the Lakeside stage. In addition to three BDO Women's World Pro titles, it was back in 2001 as a wide-eyed teenager she clinched the Winmau World Youth title at Lakeside to launch her glittering career on the oche....

I would like to thank you all for my continued support and lets work and play together to make the Ladies darts better in 2013.

Would also like to thank my only sponsor Unicorn in there continued sponsorship of me.
So my next BDO ranking event for Lakeside 2014 was the 3rd of the BDO majors called the Zuiderduin Masters. This is an event which see's six of the best lady players in the world in two groups of three players. In my group was Deta Hedman, Sharon Prins and myself. In the other group was Irina Armstrong, Lorraine Farlam and Aileen De Graff.

My forn coming into the tournament had been good and I had been practicing hard since the last tournament in Jersey. The weekend before this tournament I hit a 31.98 ave in county to give me the highest average in the country over that weekend. http://www.bdodarts.com/biccmonthlyawards.aspx

I played well in my first group game beating Sharon 4-1in legs meaning that I needed to win my next game against Deta to get myself into the final. I was playing well and defeated Deta 4-1 in legs to then play Aileen De Graaf in the final who had won through from her group. I continued my good form in the final and ran out winner by 2 sets to 1 and taking the crown of Zuiderduin Masters champion. This meant i currently held 2 of the 3 BDO major titles in the year 2013. This was a great way to end the year and a real confidence boost for Lakeside in January. I hope that by winning this tittle I will be invited back next year to defend my title as this would mean a lot to be able to defend this title.

Well its been an up and down year for me in terms of form in 2012. It started well with a Lakeside win and it finished well with a Zuiderduin Masters win. I am currently sat in 10th position in the World ranking heading into Lakeside, but it is only very early in the seasonand I will be hoping to improve on this position at Lakeside. http://www.bdodarts.com/tables.aspx?tid=8

I would like to thank my sponsor Unicorn for there continued support and assistance with helping me to change my darts this year in order to help me try and get better. After my return from a break to see family and friends in Russia and to celebrate my wins, It was back to business with the steel-tip and a trip to Jersey for their Festival of Darts.

This was a tournament that was very unique to the BDO ranking system as this offered two singles ranking events over the weekend. I attended the event with my Husband Tony Martin and a few of his friends as they came away for a break and to support me.

The event started off with the pairs event and I was for the first time partnering the Ladies World Ranked number one player Deta Hedman. To say we played well would be an understatement, We won the event without dropping a single leg along the way winning all games 3-0 in legs. This was a great start to the weekend and i was happy with the way I played.

The next tournament was the Jersey Open singles. I had a very tough draw first round when I was drawn out against Trina Gulliver. This was not one of my best performances and I lost 3-0 in legs. Trina played very well and deserved the victory and Trina made it to the final of this event where she lost out to the young talent of Fallon Sherrock who is one to watch for the future. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OneFDKVSus

The next singles tournament was the Jersey Classic singles. I made it to the last of this tournament and then played my pairs partner for the weekend Deta Hedman who was that little bit to strong for me and beat me 3-2 in legs. This game has been shown many times on dart forums, Facebook, Twitter etc due to the high standard of this game with myself and Deta showing what Ladies darts is all about. Deta made it to the final where she was beaten by Lisa Ashton. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HB1Rzsz-Ldo

So after this tournament I had only gained a few more BDO ranking points going into the Zuiderduin Masters. I felt my practice was good but I was just not getting the results that I needed. So it was back to the practice board for me in preparation for county and my next BDO ranked event in December.
Not many people will be aware that I am also the current European Soft-tip darts champion which I won in Benidorm in May 2012 and have previously been the World Champion. This is a game I have had huge success at over the years and a game I enjoy playing all the time.

I was again selected by the Russian Darts Federation to represent my country at the IDF World Cup in Shanghai China which was shown on chinese TV station CCTV which was going to be attended by players from 24 countries including the much fancied teams of USA,Hong Kong and Canada.

We started the play with the Pro Singles event of which I played very well in and was fortunate enough to win the event beating Stacy Bromberg from the USA in the final. This meant that yet again I was the Ladies singles World Champion of soft tip. I was happy with this as this meant I was now the Steel-Tip and Soft-Tip world champion again in the same year, This is something that has never been achieved by any other lady in the history of darts. http://www.edu-dart.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/5.WORLD-CUP-SINGLES-PRO-WOMEN.pdf

The next day I then played in the Pro Cricket event. again I played very well and reached the final where I was once again up against Stacy Bromberg. On this instance Stacy got her revenge on me in the final beating me 3-2 in legs after I had missed darts to win 3-1. I was a little disappointed at loosing after having darts to win but becoming runner up to a lady that plays this game all the time I was happy with my results. http://www.edu-dart.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/9.World-Cup-Singles-Pro-Cricket-Women.pdf

In the team event, which is played in Round Robin groups, Team Russia were in the group of four team. These games were played after the singles events on both days till the semi-final stages. We were pretty much the surprise team in the last for with the three other teams of Hong Kong, USA and Canada making up the rest of the semi-final teams.Russia played well in the semi-final to beat Canada and played the team of Hong Kong in the final.I was playing well and won the final leg for Russia much to the surprise of many. http://www.edu-dart.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/IDF-Darts-World-Cup-Teams-20123.pdf

This was a great tournament and one I will enjoy going back to next year to play in once again. I have put some links below of photos of the event and also some you tube clips that I managed to find.
Winmau World MastersWell after some much needed time off in September and a holiday I travelled to Las Vegas to play a soft tip tournament run by DARTSLIVE http://www.darts-theworld.com/en/ which was an excellent tournament.

I decided to travel here in preparation for the soft-tip World Cup of darts of which I would be playing in for myself and team Russia.I have written a separate blog regarding this event. http://www.idfdarts.org

So back to the steel tip. Well the start of 2014 season has really not started to plan. I attended the Winmau World Masters in Hull and I really struggled to hit my doubles in the event and lost out in the last 64 stage 4-2 in legs to Japanese player Kyio Shimizu who I gave chances to and took them well when presented with them. http://www.dartsforwindows.com/winmau/WinmauWorldMastersLadiesSingles11102012.pdf

I had been putting in a lot of practice with my new darts of which I had dropped form 22grams in weight to 20grams in weight as this is the required weight for soft-tip. I had practiced well and scored well but I could just not find that double at the end of the legs which I needed.I knew the change in the weight of the dart had not affected me that much and it was jsut one of those days where I missed my doubles.

I have never really played to my ability yet in the Winmau since winning the youth title. I have been runner up once just before I switched to the PDC. This is one title that is very hard to win and one that still I want to win.Anastasia Dobromyslova-Martinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05214499181584290758noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-160178508217326603.post-68783630373109922192013-01-08T13:58:00.001-08:002013-01-08T13:58:41.343-08:00EDO England Open
I attended the EDO England Classic in Selsey which was my last BDO ranking event for the rankings for Lakeside 2013. I was already sitting in 2nd place and wanted to guarantee my place as second seed for Lakeside.

I started the day well winning my first two games 3-0 but I knew mentally I was not playing to my full potential as I felt burnt out after a long season.

I did not play to the best of my ability in this tournament and ended up only reaching the last 32 where I was beaten by Jane Judges of Cambridgeshire.

I teamed up again with my regular pairs partner in Loraine Farlam and we had some real tough games during the day and we was very happy to get to the final where we played, C Bywaters and A Jones. we played well in the final and came away 3 nil winners.

This was the last BDO ranking event for Lakeside 2013 and I was very pleased to finish up as 2nd seed for the World Championships.

It had been a long hard season and was a very much pleasurable one being able to travel the circuit as World Champion.

I had managed to win a few singles and pairs titles during the season.

I also shortly after this tournament had finished received the news that I was invited to the Zuiderduin Masters in Egmond Aan Zee in December which is one of the three BDO major events.Anastasia Dobromyslova-Martinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05214499181584290758noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-160178508217326603.post-37519777570516140712012-09-25T08:41:00.000-07:002012-09-25T08:41:02.537-07:00GR8ofdarts

I followed my usual travelling routine of flying to Amsterdam and staying with good friends in Veldhoven for the weekend.

I played in the Mixed pairs with Stephen Bunting on the Saturday morning and I am happy to say that we came out the eventual winners on the day. We got to the final without to much hassle and never dropped a leg till we made the final. In the final we were pushed a little harder and was happy to come out 4-3 winners over Darrel Fitton and his partner.

Next in the day was the Ladies pairs. I was without my usual partner in crime Lorraine Farlam as she was in England participating in the LDO "Ladies Darts Classic". I would have liked to have been able to attend this event but I had already booked flights to Holland before this tournament was finalised earlier in the year. I will speak more about this later.

In the pairs I teamed up with a friend, Monique and we were unfortunate to loose in our second game 3-2 against the very experienced pairing of Dutch internationals, Prins & Schuur. Was nice to play in this game and one leg I was able to hit 2x180.

Sunday was the real reason I had come over to play as it was the Ladies singles. It was a seeded draw and as it turned out because of other seeded players entering and not being able to turn up, the bottom half of the draw which I was in had 4 of the 5 seeds that attended.

I had some comfortable games during the day and some tight games which were of my own doing due to lack of concentration at times. I had played well in the semi-final against Unicorn and Russian team mate Irina Armstrong and was 4-0 up when I let the concentration slip. I had just enough left at the end to come through a 5-4 winner and progress to the Final where I was playing Rachna David from Norway. I won the final which was best of 3 sets, 2 sets to nil, Again I was good in patches and bad in others. This was again due to concentration and I also feel the long wait for the stage finals did not help me, But I cant complain with the win and the 22 points I gained.

I have almost certainly guaranteed myself a second seed at Lakeside in January with the recent victory as my nearest rival Julie Gore is a fair few points behind now on the rolling table.http://www.bdodarts.com/tables.aspx?tid=8 (This table has WDF World cup points to come off)

In the Zuiderduin ranking table I have finished third as I have heard I'm not guaranteed to be in this tournament due to the way they give out places in the rankings and wild cards. I'm hoping that I have a place in this but I will just have to wait and see what the organisation decide to do with the invites.http://www.dartswdf.com/Zuiderduin/Zuiderduin-2012-RW.html

As I was reporting earlier my normal partner Lorraine Farlam was attending a tournament in England run by the newly formed Ladies Darts Organisation. This is a organisation that is pushing the ladies game forward independently after it being held back for long periods of time by others in the game. It was unfortunate that I was not able to attend this event but I will be giving it my full support in the future and would urge all Lady players from all over the world to get on board and join as members. I have included the link for the website for you all to have a look at. http://www.ladiesdartsorganisation.com

My next travels take me down to the Sussex cost to play in the EDO England Classic taking place in Selsey. I believe their may be some live internet streaming so I hope you will be able to catch me live over the coming weekend if I'm lucky enough to make the stage finals. http://www.englanddarts.co.uk

Don't forget that you can book me or any of the other GR8 of darts players by enquiring at http://www.gr8ofdarts.co.uk

Well I have typed enough and now its time to get back to the practice.

Thanks for reading and hope to see you all soon.

I played some steady game son the Friday evening in the Super Series beating on my way to the final, Zoe Jones, Michelle Webber, Trina Gulliver and in the final I was happy to come out victorious against Julie Gore from Wales. This was a nice warm up tournament for me as I have been spending the last 2 weeks in Russia with my family and sorting some other darting business out for my darting trips later in the year which I will report on nearer the time.

Saturday at Bridlington was the ladies pairs and I joined up with my usual partner Lorraine Farlam. We played many steady games throughout the day and won thorough to the semi finals on the Sunday evening where we were due to play the pairing of Trina Gullivers and her wife Sue Gulliver.

Sunday was a late start for me as I was seeded number 3 in the ladies draw, Not quite sure how they worked the seedings out with be currently being world number 2 but I was placed as 3rd seed for the day. I played some great darts throughout the day, I had some troubles with my concentration as the venue was very noisy at times. I made it through to the last 8 where I was to play Tamara Schuur from the Netherlands. I raced into a 2-0 lead and then my concentration lapsed again. I eventually lost the game and the last 2 legs Tamara outplayed me on the board and deserved to win in the end. Tamara has been playing very well of late and was recently runner up in the Sweden open last week which I did not attend. Tamara is fighting for the last automatic play off place for Lakeside and at the moment on current form is looking good to get there.

I had to wait around for several hours after I had finished my singles to play in the ladies semi final. We eventually took the stage around 3hrs after waiting and we were very comfortable winners winning 4-0 and not really being pushed to any great degree. In the other semi final was Deta Hedman and Dee Bateman vs Julie Gore and Rhian Griffiths, This was a real battle of a game and Julie and Rhian eventually came out winners 4-3 with it going down to a nail biting finish.

The final is most probably one final I want to forget. It has to go down as a bad day in the office for me and Lorraine. We were in, out and shake it all about. We could not at all find any consistency at all between us and we eventually ended up loosing what can only be described as a poor final from all players concerned 4-2. Congratulations go to Julie and Rhian as they become British Open pairs champions 2012.

Next up I have county this weekend (9th September) for Cheshire vs Lancashire and my next tournament after that will be a trip to Antwerp for my second to last ranking event for Lakeside 2013 where I am currently sitting in 2nd place with a bit of breathing space between myself and 3rd place.

Thanks for reading and I will keep you all updated of my darting adventures.
After some advice and positive criticism from GR8 of Darts member Chris Mason, Anastasia wanted to prove that she could perform well again today and throw some GR8 darts.

The day started of very well with Anastasia winning her first four games 3-0, scoring highly and consistently finishing well which is what Anastasia and her fans have come to expect from the current double World Champion. The scoring seemed to have left Anastasia for the first two legs and opponent Dee Bateman took full advantage of this and cruised into a 2-0 lead. Anastasia dug deep and started to play like she had been all day with some encouragement from vocal supporters of hers and got the game back to 2-2. The last leg went well again for Anastasia until the doubles. she missed many darts at the doubles but with her high scoring power she had enough shots at the double to hit double 5 to clinch at 3-2 victory.

Anastasia was again on stage to play her semi-final against Welsh international and ever present Lakeside player Julie Gore. The game turned out to be a real ding dong of a game with both players powering in high scores and some good finishes. Anastasia hit a crucial 86 (18,18,bull) to make it 2-2. Julie ran away with the next leg and was 3-2 up. Anastasia was well behind in the 6th leg and fired in a 180 and a 60 finish to take it to the deciding leg. Julie had already missed a few darts at the double to see out the game and Anastasia was lucky to still be in the game. The last leg was again not a very good scoring leg or a leg to write home about on doubles. Anastasia was lucky enough to win the leg and go through to the final to play England international Lisa Ashton who had beat Deta Hedman in the other semi final. Anastasia knew she had rode her luck to reach the final and felt for Julie but sometime luck is what is needed in this game and Anastasia grasped it with both hands on this occasion.

The final was a high scoring game with Lisa and Anastasia trading 100's and 140's throughout the legs. The first four legs were shared and then Anastaisa took the lead with a good leg to go 3-2 up. The last leg again was a high scoring leg and Lisa was at the doubles first. Lisa missed her chances to get the game back to 3-3 and Anastasia took out 40 after missing it on a 120 out shot the throw before to be crowned EDO England Master Ladies Champion 2012. Anastasia successfully defended her title that she won in 2011 when it was played in Blackpool.

http://www.englanddarts.co.uk/EnglandMastersLadiesSingles.pdf

Anastasia currently sits at number 2 in the BDO ranking for Lakeside 2013 seeding places. Deta Hedman currently has a healthy lead in the number 1 spot.

This is Anastasia's first win as part of the GR8 of Darts team and is looking forward to working with all the players involved and would encourage all fans to take a look at the website and sign up to be part of the GR8 of Darts team. http://www.gr8ofdarts.co.uk/join-us.html
Anastasia Dobromyslova-Martinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05214499181584290758noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-160178508217326603.post-40905372218920611642012-07-15T15:45:00.000-07:002012-07-15T15:45:25.714-07:00Grosvenor Casino Grand FinalsSaturday night saw Anastasia take part in the Grosvenor Casino finals night of which she qualified for last week after her victory in the Leeds Grosvenor Casino. The event started around 8.30pm for Anastasia as she was held up from playing in the final if the British Classic.

There was 32 ladies present for the finals night along with 32 men also playing alongside the ladies in the superb casino.

Anastasia cruised through her first to games comfortably with a 4-1 and a 4-2 victory before coming up against Unicorn team mate Tricia Wright who has returned to action after a lengthy layoff due to injury and surgery on her throwing shoulder. The game was nip and tuck for the first 4 legs with all legs going with the throw. Anastasia then stepped up her game and showed the scoring power and clinical finishing that has always been part of her game and ran away with the last 2 legs for a well deserved 4-2 victory. In the semi-final Anastasia was to again play Deta Hedman for the second time today. Unfortunately for Anastasia she did not continue the form that she had shown in her previous game and ended up loosing 4-2 for the second time today.

Deta Hedman went on to win the ladies singles beating Surrey player Apylee jones 4-2 in the final.

http://www.englanddarts.co.uk/GrosvenorGrandPrixLadiesFinals.pdf

This was a great tournament run under the EDO banner in the Grosvenor Casino's which was open to all darts players from both the BDO and PDC. All people hope that this was a success for the Casino and hope that this will run again in 2013.

Congratulations to the EDO for organising a great finals night and also the qualification tournaments.Anastasia Dobromyslova-Martinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05214499181584290758noreply@blogger.com0Coventry, West Midlands, UK52.406822 -1.519692999999961152.361504 -1.6106599999999611 52.45214 -1.4287259999999611tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-160178508217326603.post-91148744592200452782012-07-15T15:28:00.003-07:002012-07-15T17:01:52.905-07:00BDO British ClassicSaturday started off with the BDO British Classic taking place from imp at the Ricoh Arena. This was to be Anastasia's first tournament under the GR8 of Darts team There was not a great amount of entries for the tournament this year even with the ladies price fund being doubled for the top end of the game compared to last years event in Kettering. Anastasia had some tough games through the day due to Anastasia giving her opponents to many chances during the games and not having her usual killer instinct on the oche. Anastasia admitted to not having full concentration on the ochre for some unknown reason and rode her luck in games against Wales international Gaynor Williams and Norway international Rachna David.

Anastasia done enough to fight her way to the stage semi-finals where she was up against Dutch international Tamara Schuur. This game started with Anastasia scoring highly in the first 2 legs but the concentration did not seem to be there on the doubles and the score was 1-1. The standard of high scoring was now not as fluent as in the first 2 legs but with some clinical finishing Anastasia was able to get it back to 2-2. Anastasia again started leg 5 well but the doubles eluded her yet again at the end of the leg to go into the lead. Tamara scored her way down and took advantage of a increasingly poor performance of 6 missed doubles by Anastasia to move 3-2 ahead. Anastasia dug in deep with that Russian grit and determination and managed to level up at 3-3 with a fine leg of darts. The 7th and final leg was a nervy affair for both ladies with snatched and pushed darts happening for both players. The experience seemed to play a part in the last leg and Anastasia was able to win and see herself into the final where she was to play World number 1 Deta Hedman.

The final was not of the high standard that these to ladies are used to performing to and that was evident in the scoring and again in shots at doubles. There was not very many 100+ scores during the first few legs but consistent 81,85 and 60 scores. The game went to 2-1 and Deta pulled out a good leg to take the lead at 3-1 after Anastasia had missed 3 darts to level up at 2-2.Anastasia started to dig in deep to try and gain some respect from the match and produced a 14 dart leg which was the best of the game to get the score to 3-2. In the 6th and what turned out to be the final leg, Anastasia scored the better out of the 2 players and left 58 of a great 138 shot and was hoping for a shot at the double to level up at 3-3 and force a deciding last leg with Deta sitting on 149. Deta stepped up and hit 60, 57 and 32 to seal the win with a great finish and was crowned BDO British Classic 2012 Ladies Champion.

Anastasia was not to happy with the way she played throughout the day and knew there had to be an improvement for the following day for the EDO England Masters. A chat with GR8 of Darts stable mate Chris Mason was what was needed as he pointed out a few things that Anastasia was doing wrong during her throw from what he had previously seen her doing from video recordings and watching live games. Anastasia took on board Chris's words of wisdom and was all set to use them tomorrow.Anastasia Dobromyslova-Martinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05214499181584290758noreply@blogger.com0Ricoh Arena, Phoenix Way, Coventry, West Midlands CV6 6GE, UK52.4482717 -1.49569210000004252.4476752 -1.496533600000042 52.4488682 -1.4948506000000421tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-160178508217326603.post-50567926838986401552012-07-09T11:07:00.003-07:002012-07-09T11:53:09.772-07:00Anastasia wins EDO event in LeedsAnastasia participated in the EDO Grosvenor casino qualifying event yesterday in Leeds in a bid to win a place in the grand finals which take place at the Grosvenor Casino Coventry which is situated at the Ricoh Arena.

Anastasia played some great darts during the day and was pleased with a 161 finish in her last 16 game. In the last 8 game Anastasia was to play Trina Gulliver which turned out to be a high scoring game and a great battle. At 2-2 Anastasia started the last leg with scores of 140,140,140 and this was enough to give her the goes at the double required to win the game.

In the semi final Anastasia was up against another great player in Englands and Lancashires Lisa Ashton. After a slow start which saw Anastasia trail 2-0, The scores started to flow along with the finishing and Anastasia ran out 4-2 winner with some great clinical finishing.

The final turned out to be a bit of a one sided affair with Anastasia running out the winner in a comfortable 4-0 win over Sue Gulliver. Anastasia scored steadily and again finished well in the legs. Sue never really got going in the final or played to her best.

This win means Anastasia has gained automatic entry into the Finals event in Coventry on 14th July through winning one of the ranking events.Anastasia Dobromyslova-Martinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05214499181584290758noreply@blogger.com0
